Representative Kott moved and asked unanimous consent that the reconsideration of his vote be taken up on the same day. Representative Davies objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, the following was again before the House in third reading: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 412(HES) am "An Act relating to facilities for the care of children; to child placement agencies; to maternity homes; to certain residential facilities for adults; and to foster homes for adults; and providing for an effective date." 1994-04-27 House Journal Page 3808 HB 412 Representative Kott moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 412(HES) am be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 2. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representatives Kott and Hanley: Page 6, after line 21: Insert a new paragraph to read: "(2) for one or more children of any age placed by a parent for a period of up to 45 days;" Renumber the following paragraphs accordingly. Page 6, line 23, after "parent": Insert "for an extended period" Page 7, line 13: Delete "(b)(6) or (7)" Insert "(b)(7) or (8)" Representative Kott moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. Objection was heard. Amendment to Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Brown: Delete under paragraph "(2)": "for a period of up to 45 days" Representative Brown moved and asked unanimous consent that the amendment to Amendment No. 2 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The Speaker stated that CSHB 412(HES) am with pending Amendment No. 2 as amended will be held in second reading until the April 28, 1994, calendar.
